h4nzさ らに言えば、論文を査読する世代との ジェネレーションギャップもあるので悩ましい. もちろん自分のコースの教授陣はいわゆる”ニューメディア”に早くから取り組んできた人ではあるけど、彼ら自身どういうスタイルを学生に求めるべきかとい う指針は手探り状態ではなかろか.

h4nz To add to this there’s also a generation gap with the tutors who review our dissertations which also makes a mess.  I guess my course professors have worked with the so called ‘new media’ from an early stage, but I think they themselves are messily trying to figure out what writing styles they’re seeking in their students

Twitter’s Language Conventions

I’m tweeting under the user name 5putniko, posting updates for my artist alias Sputniko!. At this time of writing (September 14, 2009) 5putniko has 180 Twitter followers which includes her fans and friends.

Twitter is a popular micro-blogging site where users can post their status updates, ponders, ideas, news feeds and banal diaries (‘I ate a banana’) as long as the post contains less than 140 characters. These posts are called “Tweets” and “Tweeting” refers to posting these mini updates to the site. Users must ‘follow’ other users to read their tweets.

The ‘@’ mark is used in reply of a tweet. For example, @5putniko means that the tweet is in reply to the user 5putniko‘s tweet. “RT” stands for “Retweeting” and it is used when the user wants to tweet a whole excerpt of another user’s tweet. An example use would be: RT @5putniko I ate a banana
