TRANCEFLORA – AMY’S GLOWING SILK (2015)
Commissioned by GUCCI
Designed a Nishijin-Kimono dress, using transgenic glowing silk (created by injecting the genes of a glowing coral and jellyfish into silkworm eggs) developed by NIAS's and built a large-scale installation with 3000 transgenic silkworm cocoons. The exhibition attracted 10000 visitors in 3 weeks.
